The Judgment Seat is reserved for people who have trusted Christ. If we weren't saved, we wouldn't even be there. This is judgment of our works. This is a judgment of our life after salvation. In [2 Corinthians 5:10] it says we're going to be judged for the things "done in our body." Not judged on what we were, who we were, or what we did before we became a Christian. All that's taken care of. "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus" in [Romans 8:1].
The Judgment Seat of Christ is the judgment of our works, our lives, our stewardship, our service to the Lord God. You are there being judged because you are a Christian. And what's being judged is your life of service to God.

Reward of PraiseWhat will we get when Jesus judges our service?
When Jesus comes back and judges us, that's when you'll have praise. That's when you'll have honor. That's when you'll have glory. So don't worry about it if people don't recognize your work for the Lord today. Don't worry about it if you don't get a gold watch or a frame-able certificate for your wall.
So, what's better than the praise of men? [Matthew 25:21] says this, "'Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.'" The praise of men shouldn't mean much to you and me today. The praise and commendation of the righteous Judge, now that's a different story.
So what's Jesus going to say about your service? You might want to think about that.
