It’s only the beginning of October and would you believe that I am already thinking about Christmas?
It’s true. Though I am not one to rush through the seasons and get caught up in the consumerism of Christmas, I am thinking and planning for Christmas because of the needs of our missionaries planted all around the globe.
You see, the Lord has blessed Jews for Jesus with dedicated, hard-working Christians who are trained and effective ambassadors for the Lord. Our team of over 100 missionaries is committed to meeting, witnessing and discipling Jewish people who might not hear the gospel any other way than through them.
Our missionaries raise their own support and try their best to be good stewards of the gifts that fuel their ministry. But because of their Jewish upbringing, many often don’t have Christian family and friends to provide financial help. Many missionaries have also been called to live in places where a dollar doesn’t go far – urban centers where even the basics, such as a modest home, food and medical care are especially expensive. That is why we want to help them as best we can, especially during the holiday season.
Would you consider supporting our faithful missionaries?
Your gift could provide the funds needed for a young missionary to visit family over the holidays, or make possible a home or car repair that has been put off, or provide for a needed necessity in a missionary’s home. It is things like this that missionaries often go without – your generosity would make possible this kind of blessing.
God continues to use our people over and over again to make a difference in the lives of Jewish people all around the world. I hope you will help encourage these faithful servants during this upcoming holiday season by giving a special gift today.
