VBS for small churches – teams of students; and congregations needed!
This coming summer the Great Plains Conference will have 2 teams of college students who will travel to several different small membership churches and help lead Vacation Bible School. If you would like to have a team of students come to your church, contact Micki McCorkle to apply.
If you know of students who would be a good fit for this ministry, have them apply to be on a team. There is a stipend!
Sunday School curriculum samples
Sunday school curriculum samples from this fall are in my office. They include all ages of children and youth, including the One Room Sunday School. If you would like to use them for your children and/or youth ministry, I am happy to mail them to you or you can come by and pick them up in the Wichita, KS office of the Great Plains.
2013 VBS supplies available!
We have some United Methodist VBS supplies left from last summer (Everywhere Fun Fair), including the puppet, curriculum, signs and more. If you did not use the United Methodist VBS curriculum last summer and would like to use it this coming summer contact me and we can make arrangements for someone from your church to pick them up. Or perhaps a Wichita staff member will be travelling to your area and could drop them off. 1st come, 1st served. It is free for the taking!
GREAT PLAINS YOUTH EVENT
Registration is $59/per person through Nov. 15.
