Beth Immanuel Sabbath Fellowship Newsletter for Cheshvan 5775 - October/November 2014
Shalom Beth Immanuel e-Community,
It’s been a busy month! We blew the shofar on Rosh Hashanah. We fasted on Yom Kippur. We waved the Lulav and sat in the Sukkah on Sukkot. We danced with the Torah on Shemini Atzeret, and we started a new Torah cycle on Shabbat Bereshit. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of the visitors and virtual congregants who joined us in Hudson for the High Holidays. We thank God for a great festival season, beautiful weather during Sukkot, and an amazing community of loving disciples to share this journey.
New Service Schedule
We have implemented a new Saturday morning service schedule. Our liturgical service starts at 9:00 AM, followed by the Kiddush Rabba (Oneg) meal at 11:30 AM. At 1:00 PM we reconvene for a short, contemporary service with worship music from Troy Mitchell. Click here for a complete list of service times.

From one of our international Romans Class CD subscribers:
The CD's have arrived & I am already listening to the 1st session now. Myself (our church included) have learned & grown more in the past few years from Beth Immanuel & FFOZ teaching than I have in 26 years being a Christian. I will look forward to the 2nd set of 10 sometime next year :) Thank you so much for doing this for us. - N.H.
I can't remember the sermon series, or even when I heard the sermon--within the past year, probably. There was a sermon on Joseph, God's will, evil intention of others--the story of him being sold into slavery and wrongly accused, etc. It impacted me in a way I had never before considered. I was wanting to re-listen and possibly refer a friend to the teaching. Has it been removed or am I missing it? I don't think it was in any of the series that are listed. Thank you! - J. and B.
Click here to listen to "Trusting Hashem," the audio file referenced above. Feel free to share it with your friends and family too.
Thank you to everyone for writing in and sharing your encouragement with us. May you be abundantly blessed.____________________________
