"Check with Others"
Yesterday I encouraged you (and me) to trust yourself in your spiritual walk. Today, I counter that a little with this: Check yourself from time to time with the teachings of the Church. As we noted this past Sunday, the Biblical notion of "one another" is a strong one and a very good one. We are not meant to be solitary Christians, nor are we meant to assume no one has gone before us. A healthy balance leads to both freedom and wisdom, and both are necessary.
