News & Events
Celebration of the Church
You won't want to miss our annual Celebration of the Church this Sundaynight at 5pm in the gymnasium! We will gather to look back on God's faithfulness in the past year, and to look forward with anticipation to what He will do in the coming days. We will end the evening with a meal of pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, cole slaw, and dessert--all food will be provided.
Sunday night we will also honor Pastor Anne Hardy, in recognition of her recent ordination at our Kansas City District Assembly. At the conclusion of the service, there will be an opportunity to personally greet and affirm Pastor Anne in her call to ministry.
TP Tower
We will again be partnering with the KC Rescue Mission this fall by collecting rolls of toilet paper. You are invited to join in by bringing rolls of toilet paper to the east end of the foyer (by the windows) and adding to the tower during the month of August!
Help Needed!
Are you called to serve and teach our youngest worshippers? Help is needed in the 3-year-old and kindergarten Sunday School classes. Volunteers are also needed to help in our preschool worship. Contact Margie Schwarz (mschwarz@kcfc.org) to learn more!
