Welcome Back! If you have ever wanted to participate in either the choir or the orchestra, now is a great time to start! The Celebration Choir will reconvene on Wednesday, August 19, for hors d’oeuvres at 5:30 pm and rehearsal from 6:45 - 8:30 pm. The Sunrise Orchestra will resume on Thursday, August 20, with a dessert party and rehearsal from 7:30 - 9:00 pm. Both groups meet in Room 101, Lower Sanctuary each week. Summer of Stories
Stories of PartnershipDo summer right by coming to PazNaz’s Summer of Stories on Wednesday night,August 19. This summer, PazNaz has hosted fun, intergenerational evenings filled with stories from the PazNaz community for you to enjoy. This final Wednesday, August 19, at 6:30 pm will bring stories of partnership. The night will feature Life-Sized Board Games and Food Trucks. WOW Jam Mission ExperiencePazNaz’s Compassionate Ministries is partnering with WOW Jam International for a unique local mission experience in Pasadena on Sunday, August 30. Valley Center Preschool ShowerTo celebrate Valley Center Preschool’s first Fall open for enrollment, PazNaz is hosting a Preschool Shower on Sunday, August 23, from 2:00-4:00 pm at Valley Center. Memorial ServicesA funeral mass for Sixta Faller will be held on Wednesday, August 19, at 10:00 am atOur Lady of Miraculous Medal in Montebello (map).
A memorial service for Jim Gibson will be held on Saturday, August 29, at 3:00 pm at the San Luis Obispo Nazarene Church (map).

Alabaster Offering
Sunday, September 20Please prayerfully consider a special offering to help missions on September 20. This offering goes toward building churches, medical facilities, and schools in the mission field. Alabaster Offering boxes are a good way to collect change for this special offering and are available at the Missions’ kiosk in the Sanctuary foyer.
Auditions for
It's A Wonderful Life
Sunday, September 20PazNaz’s Worship & Celebration Arts will be presenting It’s a Wonderful Life this year and would like to invite you to be a part of it. If you are interested in performing, sound effects, costuming, or tech, there is a place for you. Auditions for actors will be on Mondays, August 24 and September 14, from 6:00-8:00 pm and on Saturday, September 12, from 10:00 am-1:00 pm.
