Tickets to Watch Pope Francis in Washington
Dear Friend,
As you may have heard, His Holiness Pope Francis will be coming to speak before Congress in September as part of his visit to the United States. Each Congressional office has been given 50 tickets to gather outside on the West Front Lawn of the Capitol to view the telecast of the Pope’s address to the Joint Session of Congress, which he will make from inside the House Chamber on September 24. As I’ve done in the past to distribute tickets to the presidential inaugurations, I will hold a random drawing for my constituents. Click here to see if I represent you in Congress.
Those who receive tickets will be given standing room only positions outside to view the telecast from the West Front Lawn of the Capitol on September 24. Please be aware that these tickets are standing room only, so be prepared to be outside for an extended period. Winners must be constituents of the 53rd district and pick up their tickets in person, in Washington. These tickets are non-transferable and must not be sold. Additionally, please note that all accommodations and flights to Washington, D.C. are the responsibility of the ticket recipient. I hope you’ll share this message with any other constituents you know who may be interested.

I will select constituents at random and notify winners via email by August 24 so that they may make travel plans.
