Working in rural Malawi, I've seen a lot of disease and despair. And right now, we're facing the worst uptick in hunger of my career. Today, I'm writing to enlist your help.
Earlier this year, heavy rains and devastating floods collapsed homes, drowned livestock, and destroyed acres of much-needed crops. Now, countless families are dangerously short of food—and their children are going hungry.
We need to reach these families in need, and we need to do so as soon as possible. Would you consider an urgent gift of $15 today to support these crucial efforts?
Even before the floods, malnutrition was a serious and persistent problem in Malawi.
More than half of all children under age 5 in Neno are stunted as a result of persistent malnutrition. In the coming months, we could see twice as many children suffering from this tragic condition.
With your help, we can reach more families in need and ensure they have the ready-to-use therapeutic food that helps set them on the path to health.
But, we have to move quickly.
Will you help us reach more families in need with a gift today?
Thank you in advance for making this work possible,
Emily
