Dear PazNaz Special Needs Ministries families and Friends:
This year is going by very quickly. May is already here and for
many of you who have children still in school, this means
wrapping up school years, IEP’s to get ready for the next year,
and locating and securing summer school or other programs
and activities that will enrich the lives of your kids and
continue to provide much needed structure. In the middle of
all of the planning, coordinating and dreaming let me
challenge you to take a moment to stop and rest and refresh. I
realize this can seem like an impossible task. However, I have
learned the importance of taking this much needed rest.
When you feel that all of the plates you are spinning are going
out of control or if you stop to rest one will fall and everything
will be lost let me encourage you with these words: “Come to
me, all of you who are tired and have heavy loads, and I will
give you rest. Accept my teachings and learn from me, because
I am gentle and humble in spirit, and you will find rest for your
lives. The burden that I ask you to accept is easy; the load I
give you to carry is light.” Matthew 11:28-30. May these words
of Jesus help you in the middle of business to rest. Let him
carry your worries, hopes, dreams and never ending to do
list.
