This fall, we'll welcome an exciting group of new leaders to campus. The energy these new students bring is refreshing. We'll also welcome back our interns. These students return to Luther Seminary after a year of applying what they learned in the classroom to hands-on ministry.
See how you make a difference!
As our graduates answer calls and before classes begin, we want to say "Thank you!" Here are just a few of the ways you make a difference for students and church leaders through your prayers and gifts.
Working Preacher Presents: The Craft of Preaching
Do you ever wonder what's behind the scenes of some of the sermons you hear at big preaching conferences with famous preachers? Have you always wanted a practical preaching conference where you can learn some new how-to's for constructing a sermon and honing your homiletical skills?
Join us for the Aus Lecture
On Oct. 3, Luther Seminary will welcome musical duo Lost And Found as guests of the Aus Memorial Lecture. The concert will be held at 7 p.m. in the Olson Campus Center's Chapel of the Incarnation.
Enter the Bible: Why do we suffer?
Each month, this newsletter highlights an article from Enter the Bible, Luther Seminary’s free resource that helps you grow in your faith, add depth to your studies and discover the people, places and events of the Bible.
Kathryn Schifferdecker, associate professor of Old Testament, takes on this age-old question in a blog post and podcast on EntertheBible.org. She notes, "The biblical writers know suffering firsthand and they write of it in detail.” Read the article and listen to her conversation with Luther Seminary colleagues.
