This week...
Father's Day Coffee Bar
The youth group will be running a coffee bar in the foyer again this Sunday morning! We will be serving delicious hot coffee, and some iced beverage options as well. Donations will be gladly accepted, but all fathers are invited to swing by for a Father's Day beverage on the youth group. All donations will go directly towards the youth summer camp and mission trip.

Have a yard that needs mowing?
Looking for a babysitter for next weekend? Our teens are offering their services this summer as they raise money for their upcoming trip to the Navajo Christian Foundation in Winslow, Arizona. If you would be interested in hiring a teen, or would like to find out more, please stop at the table in the foyer this Sunday!

All are invited to a special service next Sunday night at 6:00 pm in the Westside Room, as we hear from missionary Kindra Bible about God's work in Ecuador through the Extreme Nazarene program.
Mark Your Calendars...
"This is My Story, This is My Song..."
On Sunday, June 29, at 6:00pm, Marti Sprague will be presenting a special evening of narrative and music, focusing on the life and songs of famous hymn writer, Fanny Crosby. A love offering will be taken at this event to benefit True Light's Emancipation Station women's shelter in Kansas City.

District Youth Camp
Registration for the KC District Youth Camp is now open at kcdistrict.org! Camp this year will be held on July 7-11.
Registration cost is $285.

Youth Mission Trip
This summer, our teens will be going to Winslow, Arizona to work with the Navajo Christian Foundation from July 19-27. Speak with Pastor Roland for more details.

During the summer, the First Church gymnasium will be open on Tuesday mornings from 10:00am-12:00pm for a time of unstructured fun and fellowship for kids and their parents! Parents are encouraged to bring snacks if they want them, and to stay around to supervise their children. Contact Margie for more information (mschwarz@kcfc.org)!

GriefShare
If you have lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend you have probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt that you feel. KC First's GriefShare group meets on Saturdays at 10:00am to pray, discuss, and watch videos on relevant topics.

Young Adult "Encounter"

Men's Prayer Breakfast
Gentlemen, before beginning your Friday each week, enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast with a group of First Church men. We meet every Friday at 6:30am in the church atrium. Every first Friday of the month, we serve a hot breakfast. Contact Chip Kraft for more information.

The Prayer Chapel located on the West side of the sanctuary is always open for prayer. You are also welcome to gather in the sanctuary for a time of prayer every Sunday morning from 8am-9am.
Every Friday morning at 6:30am, a group of men meets at First Church for a time of sharing and prayer together over breakfast.
On the first Saturday of the month, a group of ladies meet at the Panera at 103rd & State Line for a time of fellowship and prayer.
