The Trinity United Methodist Church "The Tuesday Word" for Tuesday, 17 June 2014

The Trinity United Methodist Church "The Tuesday Word" for Tuesday, 17 June 2014
Dear Friends,
The Africa University Choir was the highlight of our recent Conferencenin Lakeland.  They are outstanding!  And, I hope you will come hear them at Trinity: this Thursday, June 19, 7 pm. The 18 members are from several countries in Africa, and the University is making a huge difference on that continent.  We still need to provide overnight housing on the 19 (and breakfast the next morning) for  students.  Please contact Tammy  or 416-3005 ASAP.
Also, our own Professor Rea will give an important talk on St. Perpetua, one of the few known Christian Women martyrs in the early Church.  Her talk will be Sunday, June 22 at 7 pm in room 232.
Sonlight had an awesome Send Off concert, and are having an amazing tour.  They're in New York City!
Our Trinity campus will once again be filled with scores/hundreds of children for "SummerTimeFun" and "Cross Trainers" sports camps.  And God is
good, all the time!  Amen..
Love and Prayers, Dan

A word from Rev. Esther:  Hi friends,  as you read this I'm in New York City spending a few days with Sonlight-- I'm officially a groupie!  I'll be back in Gainesville on Thursday and off to Miami, on my way to Haiti, on Friday.  Please keep me in your prayers as I travel, and especially for the team that will be serving in Haiti.  I so enjoyed preaching this past Sunday on a topic that is very dear to me, especially on the heels of the most encouraging Annual Conference experience I've ever had. Blessings to you this week and next.
