He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you.”
He said to him, “Feed my lambs.” 16 He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?”
He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you.”
He said to him, “Tend my sheep.” 17 He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you have affection for me?”
Peter was grieved because he asked him the third time, “Do you have affection for me?” He said to him, “Lord, you know everything. You know that I have affection for you.”
Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.
[Jesus] said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.”(John 21:17 (NIV))
I have had an exciting life. As a rubber planter in Malaysia I was saved from a bandit ambush and saved four times from deadly snakes. I survived a deep depression, brain surgery, and much more. God has given me the joy of preaching and the joy of witnessing through writing books. I have seen a Christian youth group in Malaysia grow from 30 members to over 10,000 members and spread to four more countries. Some folk do not believe in miracles, but I have experienced them! All who believe Jesus is the Son of God know how he suffered and died on the cross to show God’s love for us. Jesus is the Savior. We know that Jesus is always with us through the Holy Spirit, which dwells within us. Enthusiasm to serve Jesus brings wonderful happenings, and each day can be a holy adventure.

Thought for the Day: When we believe in Jesus, miracles are possible.
Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank you for being with us and for all you have done for us. Help us to serve you each day as we pray, “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one” (Matt. 6:9-13, KJV). Amen.
Prayer focus: Youth groups in Malaysia
