Resurrection West,
Holy week continues with a special Holy Week worship experience for our teens at both youth group gatherings tonight! Middle School 6:00-7:15pm and High School 7:30-8:15pm. If you have a 6th-12th grader make it a priority for them to be there tonight for this moving and meaningful worship night!
Tomorrow night is our Maundy Thursday or Holy Thursday worship service at 7:00pm. We will experience reflective music, discovery of word, share Holy Communion at Christ’s table, and journey toward the cross. Childcare will be available for 4 years and under and kid’s packets will be available for this one hour service.
Good Friday day of prayer begins in the Sanctuary at 7:00am and is available for prayer until 7:00pm. Come by anytime to spend time in prayer, light a candle, and reflect upon Christ’s sacrifice.
Saturday the Resurrection celebration begins rain or shine with our annual Easter Egg Hunt from 3:00-5:00pm on the grounds of RezWest. We will begin by gathering to hear a children’s message of Easter and introduce all the great games, crafts, and more available to you. The Easter Bunny will be present for fun and pics and children of all ages will hunt eggs to help them understand new life in Christ(and our teens have an egg hunt area this year also). Invite your neighbors to come!
We then begin the Easter at Resurrection West worship celebration with our first service on Saturday evening at 5:30pm. Pastor Adam will be offering a special message of hope and we will sing powerful praise in song to celebrate that Jesus is risen! We’ve got some special surprises in Easter worship to celebrate the most important day for Christians across the world! Who can you reach out invite right now to join us in worship? Share this video as an invitation by clicking here on your Facebook page or email to a friend to invite them to worship!
Sunday Easter at Resurrection continues with services at 8:00am, 9:30am, 11:15am, and 5:00pm.Please consider worshiping at the 5:30pm on Saturday, 8:00am or 5:00pm on Sunday as these will be the services with the most room. This allows us to make room for our many guests. All services this Easter weekend have childcare available for 4 years and under, as well as kids packets for wigglers in worship. We want to encourage families to worship together on Easter! More info can be found at cor.org/west/easter

• Mere Christianity, by C.S. Lewis and facilitated by Dave Robertson. In this classic, we’ll explore the common ground upon which all Christians stand together. Bringing together Lewis’legendary broadcast talks during World War II from his three previous books, The Case for Christianity, Christian Behavior and Beyond Personality, this book provides an unequaled opportunity for believers and nonbelievers alike to study the Christian faith.
• Armor of God, by Priscilla Shirer and facilitated by Anne Strempke. All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. The enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman “dressed for the occasion.” The Armor of God is a study with an action plan for putting on your armor daily and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory.
