Greetings Resurrection Blue Springs,
I'm sending out this week's enote a bit earlier than usual to remind you about the upcoming Holy week schedule. Tonight is our Maundy Thursday worship service at 6:30pm. We'll begin with a simple supper followed by Holy Communion and then our Confirmands and High School Youth will be leading us in a special worship service. Our youth have been working hard to offer you a reflective experience with dramatic presentations and music. This time together will allow you to listen to some of the voices that would have spoken in those final hours leading up to Jesus’ death. Voice that still challenge us today. Childcare for 4 years and under will be available during the worship service.
Then on Sunday we begin our celebration of Easter at Resurrection Blue Spring with worship services at 8:00 am, 9:30 am and 11:15 am. Pastor Adam will be offering a special message of hope and we will raise our voices in praise and song to celebrate that Jesus is risen! This is the most important day for Christians across the world and one of our biggest outreach opportunities to include our friends and family who do not yet know Jesus. Romans 10:14 reminds us, “Before people can be saved, they must believe in him; and before they can believe in him, they must hear about him; and for them to hear, SOMEONE MUST TELL THEM!”
That someone includes you! Have you invited anyone to an Easter service yet? It’s not too late! Who can you reach out to and invite right now to join us in worship? Share this video as an invitation by clicking here to include on your Facebook page or email to a friend to invite them to worship!
If you call Resurrection Blue Springs your church home, please remember our Easter adage;" Park far, sit close, come early!" Please consider worshiping at the 8:00am (or11:15 am) service on Sunday as these will be the services with the most room. This allows us to make room for our many guests. All services this Easter weekend have childcare available for 4 years and under, as well as kids packets for wigglers in worship. We want to encourage families to worship together on Easter!
Our beautiful Easter flowers are donated by:

Ladies, join Bible study leader and Christian motivational speaker, Patricia Sanders-Hall, in a course structured as a follow-up to Resurrection’s 2016 Inspired for Life Women’s Conference with the theme of “Gratitude.” Whether you attended the conference or not, this study will explore practical tips, stories and scripture, which teach us how to practice gratitude as a life style so we can stay on the path to inner peace, hope and faith. Each class is designed to be self-contained, so missing a session will not cause you to fall behind. You can purchase Nancy Leigh DeMoss’s book, Choosing Gratitude: Your Journey to Joy, for $15 at Guest Services (coming soon). Register here or at Guest Services on Sunday.
- April FaithWork - Join us for work on a Habitat for Humanity project on Saturday, April 9.
