Dear Friends and Family of Your Nazarene Seminary,
THANK YOU for your incredible support, prayers, and giving. Some of you are new friends, and we have known others of you for decades! We are all supporters for young people who are obeying God, sacrificing, and preparing for ministry.
THE PAST IS BEHIND US! The financial crisis several years ago in the U.S. affected giving and student enrollment. However, new students are getting the courage to continue their studies and move beyond heavy university debt which held them back. Enrollment is climbing significantly! The number of regular donors is increasing. More churches are supporting, and alumni are remembering NTS by their giving.
HELP US FINISH $1,000,000, raised for students in the 2015-2016 year.
END OF THE FISCAL YEAR IS ONE MONTH AWAY (June 30, 2016). This has been a banner year of financial support, with friends of NTS giving nearly $600,000, which is more than ever before! However, with new students, essential building improvements and diverse programs, we still need to raise $400,000. Half of this may be possible through current pending gifts, but we need all friends to rise to the challenge and help us raise the matching $200,000.
ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! That sounds like a lot of money. But if everyone who receives this letter -- pastors, laypeople, alumni, Board of Trustee members, faculty members, and students -- gives something by June 30, it will provide the miracle we need to go over the top.
WE NEED GIFTS LARGE & SMALL. Some of you could give $25, $50, or $100. Others would be blessed to give $500, $1,000, $5,000 or even more. If everyone participates generously, it will make history at NTS in total friend giving and continue the financial renewal and dynamic growth we are experiencing.
