Our 60 Days of Prayer for General Conference has come to an end. Thank you for your faithfulness to this prayer community and our journey together. During these 60 days, we have read the same meditations and prayed the same daily prayer in our native languages of English, French, Korean, Swahili, Portuguese, and Spanish. We have prayed diligently, attended informational meetings and prayer trainings, created prayer bead strands and prayer rooms, held prayer vigils, prayed for and with our delegates, bishops, and leaders. We trust that God has heard our prayers and is responding. The work of General Conference continues as will the prayers of the people.
This week, we pray for the following annual conferences in session:
The Upper Room will continue to provide prayer support for our church and her people as we move into annual conferences and jurisdictional sessions. Please look for our posts three times a week as we share which annual conferences are in session, guided prayers, and suggested prayer practices.
We go forward in prayer and say, “Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.”
