I spoke the need to shock our nation's heart back to life, with the power of love and mercy and justice for all.

We can't let faith be cynically used by some to serve hate, racism, and greed.
Some issues aren't left vs. right or liberal vs. conservative. They are simply right vs. wrong.
We are being called, like our mothers and fathers, to be the moral defibrillators of our time.
We will not give up on the heart of our democracy. Not now. Not ever.
