SUNDAY, MARCH 5, 2017
Together we pray the Lord’s Prayer with Bishop John Yambasu of the Sierra Leone Annual Conference, leading the UMC in “Praying Our Way Forward” for the week of March 4-11, 2017.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Do One Thing* for Your District
Suggestions from the UMC Prayer Community:

• Pray for your District Superintendent and the District Assistant. Then send them an email or a letter or a card to tell them how much you appreciate them and their service to the United Methodist Church (UMC).
• Organize a family prayer time for the mission of the UMC and light a candle at the beginning of the prayer time to remind everyone that Jesus Christ is the light of the world and he will draw all people to his family (the church).
• Help clear the table and load the dishwasher together (if you have one). Remind each member of your family that God loves him/her.
• Pray for the people who do not know God’s love made real in Jesus Christ.
• Pray for the members of the Commission on a Way Forward.
