The Seminar
An acacia tree is a safe haven; what if ministry could be, too? The Safe Haven Relationship Counseling Center and the Center for Vocational Ministry are cosponsoring the Personal Life of the Leader Seminar to give you a guided space to transform, refocus, and refresh.
Ministry stressors are unique. It is not uncommon for ministry leaders to be stressed out and burned out from dealing with painful transitions, crisis, and failures in ministry. But how can we identify sources of stress that are hidden? Do you know what your emotional triggers are?
If you are feeling the weight of stress and burnout pulling on you, we want you to know you are not alone. Too many ministry leaders silently struggle to bear the weight on their own.
Dr. Sharon May and Dr. Chris Adams will cover a variety of topics including, but not limited to: working with difficult people; emotionally healthy leadership; the five key systems to balance; marriage and ministry; and listening prayer and life changing spiritual practices.
