"God's Plan (2)" with The Bible Reading: Matthew 6:31-34
Matthew 6:31 “So don’t be anxious, asking, ‘What will we eat?,’ ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘How will we be clothed?’ 32 For it is the pagans who set their hearts on all these things. Your heavenly Father knows you need them all. 33 But seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Don’t worry about tomorrow — tomorrow will worry about itself! Today has enough tsuris already!

Yesterday we talked about God's perfect plan. But often we do not focus on His plan. Life is full of distractions and worries. Money, pleasures, jobs, sickness and death are things that may cause us to stop focusing on God.
When Jesus left the earth, He gave His disciples a very important job. In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus told them to tell others about Him and to make them His disciples. We have that responsibility, too. We should go out and share God's Word and plan of salvation.
Maybe your worries are keeping you from telling others about Jesus. In our Bible verses today, Jesus reminded His followers that they should not worry. Jesus said, "What you should want most is God's kingdom and doing what he wants you to do" (verse 33a).
Read and study God's Word. Remember that You can always depend on Him to take care of you.
"Look at the birds. They don't plant, harvest, or save food in barns, but your heavenly Father feeds them. Don't you know you are worth
much more than they are?"[Matthew 6:26]
PRAYER: Dear Father, I want to stay focused on You and Your plan. In Jesus' name. Amen. -------"God's Plan (1)" for Wednesday, 3 May 2017 from Deaf Devo of Deaf Missions in Council Bluffs, Iowa, United States with The Bible Reading: Ephesians 1:3-10 Ephesians 1:3 Praised be Adonai, Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, who in the Messiah has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heaven. 4 In the Messiah he chose us in love before the creation of the universe to be holy and without defect in his presence. 5 He determined in advance that through Yeshua the Messiah we would be his sons — in keeping with his pleasure and purpose — 6 so that we would bring him praise commensurate with the glory of the grace he gave us through the Beloved One.
7 In union with him, through the shedding of his blood, we are set free — our sins are forgiven; this accords with the wealth of the grace 8 he has lavished on us. In all his wisdom and insight 9 he has made known to us his secret plan, which by his own will he designed beforehand in connection with the Messiah 10 and will put into effect when the time is ripe — his plan to place everything in heaven and on earth under the Messiah’s headship.

Long ago, the Israelites were God's special people. They became slaves in Egypt. So God sent Moses to free the Israelites from their slavery. The Israelites suffered a lot, but God did not leave them when they were slaves. Then Moses led the Israelites to a new land. God was always with them and helped them serve Him.
God did not choose the Israelites because they were perfect people. They disobeyed God and sinned again and again. But He still loved them. God's plan was for His Son, Jesus, to be born from the Israelite nation.
When we sin, we are separated from God. But God's plan is perfect. He sent Jesus to earth to save us from our sins. Verse 10 of our Bible Reading today says, "God's goal was to finish his plan when the right time came. He planned that all things in heaven and on earth be joined together with Christ as the head."
Thank God for His wonderful plan. Praise Him and glorify Him today.
"In Christ we were chosen to be God's people. God had already planned for us to be his people, because that is what he wanted."[Ephesians 1:11a]
PRAYER: Dear God, thank You for including me in Your plan. In Jesus' name. Amen.
