Boy and a puppy
JUST PUPS. “I’ll look out for you. You look out for me. There’s cookies in it for both of us.” Photo by Zolakoma.
I’m taking a break for a few days. But I’ll leave you in the care of wise counsel.
GOOD PEOPLE are kind even to animals.
But even the kindest act of a rotten soul stinks like run-over skunk in a fender well.(Proverbs 12:10, Steve’s Bible Translation)
Here’s how it reads in one of the widely approved Bible versions:
Good people take care of their animals,
but even the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel.(New Century Version)
Okay, in any version, that’s a bit of an exaggeration. But it’s exactly the kind of thing Jesus would say if he were talking today, right?
He always did love to take it a little over the top.
Maybe he figured that’s where he would find us.
Peekaboo.

"Job eyes"
What old man in the Bible said he made a deal with himself not to undress a woman with his eyes?
