Olathe, Kansas, United States - The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection West eNote with Pastor Jason Gant for Friday, 5 September 2014
Resurrection West,
This Sunday will be a great day of worship as Pastor Adam concludes The Power of Words series. We also have the Cedar Creek Triathlon happening early Sunday morning - start time of 7am for the race. Our children made signs to encourage the racers as they pass by our campus. This is a great opportunity to support this community event and I know many of you are racing. I can't speak for Nathan Brooks, who is also racing, but those signs of encouragement will lift me up as I bike by our campus early Sunday morning! Here are a couple of the signs our kids made.

We have been assured that vehicle access for the 9am service will not be an issue. The roads are scheduled to be clear after 8:30am. If you serve on the worship team, tech team, usher, security, etc. you will need to arrive before 6:30am to get access to the campus – otherwise wait until after 8:30am. Access traffic before 6:30am will be detoured to Dunraven (just east of West Valley Parkway). Our amazing parking lot volunteers will be present (with orange vests on) to assist in guiding you in before 6:30am. See this map below.

Here are some upcoming opportunities for ministry. Many are happening this week. We hope you will consider getting plugged in this fall with the many discipleship opportunities. Don’t know where to begin? Consider Alpha!
