"Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always."(1 Chronicles 16:11, NIV)
PRAISES:
Nancy’s Testimony
"My name is Nancy and I am 24-years old. I just completed grade 12, but I didn't get a placement at a territory institution. I felt that I had no hope or future until recently when I heard your radio drama on the topic of "There is a Hope and Future in Jesus," and I was really blessed. Keep up the good work!" Praise God that Nazarene radio programs are on the air reaching women like Nancy who found the Krai Bilong Ol Meri (Cry of the Woman) program which airs in Papua New Guinea. Pray for Nancy and other listeners who tune in to Nazarene programs around the world searching for hope and a future—may they find it in Jesus Christ.

GLOBAL MINISTRY REQUESTS
Super Typhoon Yolanda UPDATE
It was one year ago that Super Typhoon Yolanda ravaged parts of the Philippines. Today, more than 500 families are spread between five transitory sites, unable to rebuild on the land they once occupied. Nazarene Disaster Response (NDR) identified the greatest needs of these people to be: Psycho-Social and Psycho-Spiritual, Health Services, Protection and Child Friendly Spaces, WASH (Water Sanitation and Hygiene), and Education for the early childhood (3-6 years of age) and out of school youth. Please pray. Click here to read more.
November Missionary Prayer Focus
Please pray for the following requests from missionaries who are part of the November Prayer Focus:
Mike and Cailyn Wheatley, serving in Argentina/Chile
On November 5 we moved to Chile where we will work as mobilizers to recruit young Chileans to work as 40/40s for our church plant in Antofagasta. Pray that God would continue to raise up youth to be 40/40s and that those youth would not be afraid to follow God's call in their lives.
Our church plant team for Córdoba, Argentina, starts their missionary training on January 8. They are raising funds for their 28-month commitment. Pray that they would be able to raise their funds and they would be protected against spiritual attacks.
Pray that God would continue to strengthen our marriage.
District Superintendents
Over the next several months, NMI will publish the names and place of ministry for Nazarene district superintendents. Please join us in praying for these individuals who God has called to shepherd pastors and churches around the world.
Today’s district superintendents are from countries on the South America Region:

May the Lord add His blessing to the work of these district superintendents.
Thanksgiving Offering for the World Evangelism Fund
Across the globe we use funds from the Thanksgiving Offering to preach the Gospel, to offer a drink of water in Jesus' name, and to alleviate human suffering. Please pray that the funds received in this year’s offering will be effectively used to make Christ known in the nations. Click here to read a letter from the Board of General Superintendents about the Thanksgiving Offering for the World Evangelism Fund. Thank you, Lord, for your continued provision for the ministries of the Church of the Nazarene.
M15 Conference
Honoring Our Past, Shaping Our Future is the theme for the M15 Conference to be held February 9-11, 2015, in Kansas City, Missouri. Please join the USA/Canada Region in prayer for this conference:

Pray that the conference will provide workshops with insights, practices and innovations needed to enable transformational ministry across the USA and Canada region.
Ask the Holy Spirit to anoint each of our plenary speakers as they present the Word of God.

Mission 2015 Conference
The Mission 2015 Conference, hosted by the United States/Canada Regional Office, will focus on the theme “Honoring the Past, Shaping the Future.” Mission conference events have been held every four years since 1999, and they are the largest all-church gatherings in the United States and Canada between general assemblies. In February 2015, Nazarenes across the United States and Canada will celebrate the faithfulness of God to those who went before us, and learn together how those stories can shape our future as a church. Held from February 9-11, 2015, in Kansas City, Missouri, M15 will be a conference to encourage, motivate, train, and inspire our church to action for the mission field in which we live.
M15 will be a time to gather. At M15 we will come together as a church, to reconnect with each other and lift each other up. Not only will we connect with other Nazarenes from across the United States and Canada, we will connect with our story as a church, the faithfulness of God to those who went before us.
M15 will be a time to inspire. Every person in ministry faces challenges on a daily basis. M15 will be a time where both clergy and laity will be encouraged in their ministries, and given new inspiration to continue serving God.
M15 will be a time to equip. The United States and Canada was declared a mission field in 1997, and made a world region in 2009. The challenges of ministry in a post-Christian environment are ones that every church will have to face. M15 will help prepare clergy and laity for these challenges with passionate speakers, informative workshops, and important conversations on ministry in the 21st Century.
M15 promises to be a powerful event for the whole United States/Canada church. Keep watching our site and Like us on Facebook to get the latest updates on registration, speakers, workshops, and exhibits.
