BI Newsletter: Elul 5775
Shalom Beth Immanuel e-Community,
The month of Elul consists of a forty day period of repentance which culminates in the High Holy Days. We use these days to repent of our misdeeds, break bad habits, make good on our promises and resolutions, and repair relationships. The message of Yeshua beckons us, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near!”
Immersions at Beth Immanuel
On Sunday, August 16, the second day of Rosh Chodesh Elul and the first day of the biblical month, we celebrated several new immersions into the name of the Master with a special prayer service and a community meal.
The Book of Revelation
A new weekly study on the Book of Revelation begins Wednesday, September 9 when the Beth Immanuel Plugged In services resume. Listen along online at www.bethimmanuel.org.

This year’s teachings will focus on the high holiday themes in the Book of Revelation. We have several community meals planned, lots of singing and liturgical services, and teaching about the redemption. Click here for the schedule. Sukkot in Hudson is a beautiful time of year. We are looking forward to a joyous festival season this year as we celebrate the coming kingdom of heaven on earth. Come sit under the sukkah with us and get a foretaste of the Messianic Age, September 27-October 6.
New Website Coming
We have begun work on creating a new website. Not all of the old content will be transferred to the new site. Download the material you want to save from bethimmanuel.org before it disappears from the Internet forever.
26 Answers to 26 Reasons
By popular demand, we are editing and posting Pastor Lancaster’s 2009-2010 mid-week class on the anti-missionary book Twenty-Six Reasons Jews Don’t Believe in Jesus. These responses to classic anti-missionary arguments against the Gospel are more fun than a square-dance in a minefield! You can check out the first audio already by clicking here.
