PRAISES:
Bruno’s Accident
On January 23, Bruno Huamán, age six, was struck by a car on the way home from school. Neighbors came out of their homes thinking two cars had collided because the sound was so loud only to find it was a boy that had been hit. After being rushed to the hospital, Bruno was checked out and despite bumps and bruises, was able to go home the next night. Thank you, Lord, for sparing Bruno’s life. It appears that he fell onto his backpack and that helped lessen the impact. Bruno’s parents are Lenilde and Consuelo who pastor the Nazarene church in Ambato, Ecuador.
PRAY FOR:
GLOBAL MINISTRY REQUESTS
Visa Rejection
A missionary family is in need of your prayers. Their visa renewal application has been rejected. They have entered an appeal process and should know very soon if their appeal will be considered. Ask God to move whatever mountains need to be moved and that their visa will be renewed. The family deeply desires to stay in the country and continue the ministry they are participating in.
Aftermath – South America Floods
More than 160,000 people were evacuated from their homes in the bordering areas of Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay due to major flooding during the month of December. In Uruguay, Nazarene churches have been serving as shelters and emergency aid distribution centers. Please pray for our Nazarene brothers and sisters as they continue to help those affected by this tragedy. Click here if you would like to support local church efforts.
New Work
Pray with Nazarenes on the Asia-Pacific Region for the following areas where they desire new work to be planted and flourish:
Re-start of the work in Republic of Palau in Micronesia
A large city in a "sensitive area" that a church planting team has been preparing the entry and planting strategy for the past two years. This city has two major Unreached People Groups (UPGs) and four smaller UPGs.

Bruno’s Accident
On January 23, Bruno Huamán, age six, was struck by a car on the way home from school.
Neighbors near where the accident occurred rushed out of their homes thinking two cars had collided the sound was so loud only to find it was a boy that had been hit. After being rushed to the hospital, Bruno was checked out and despite bumps and bruises, was able to go home the next night.
Bruno’s father, Lenilde, says that it was a miracle the way God protected his son. When he was struck, Bruno fell on his backpack and that helped break some of the impact. Neighbors, upon learning Bruno is going to be ok are saying it is a miracle he wasn’t hurt worse.
Praise God for protecting Bruno. Pray for his complete recovery. His parents, Lenilde and
Consuelo, pastor the Nazarene church in Ambato, Ecuador. Pray for the neighbors, that
somehow, through this accident, they will desire to know more about the faith of Bruno's family and about the true miracle worker, Jesus Christ.
