Along the way, Grisetti also explains how the strict Southern Baptist faith of his youth descended into a bitter sort of Agnosticism. His anti-theism and dental-phobia eventually culminated in a potentially lethal drug overdose at a Manhattan dentist's office. In the spiritual vision that followed, God conducted a divine rescue mission, giving Josh a new chance at life and a message to carry back for the rest of us.
The author estimates God spent "over 150 years" providing detailed answers to questions about the mysteries of Creation, the meaning of life, the true story of Christ, the afterlife, and more. Grisetti chronicles his journey with blunt comic undertones, undercutting the lofty gravitas typically associated with the "heaven tourism" genre (including best-sellers like "Heaven is for Real" and "Proof of Heaven"). While making no claims regarding absolute truth of any kind, this real life story is, if nothing else, an entertaining and thought-provoking journey into the psychology of religion and the existence of God.

About the Author
Josh Grisetti is primarily an actor working in theatre and television. He has no formal training in writing, philosophy or religion. This memoir is his first book -- and probably his last. Josh was born in Washington D.C., grew up just outside of Roanoke, Virginia, and was raised in the Southern Baptist Church. He currently lives in Brooklyn with his dog, Cooter, neither of whom have any specific religious affiliation.
