"Important Passover request" Rabbi Zalman Shmotkin "By the Grace of G-d" for Tuesday, 12 Nissan, 5776 * April 19, 2016
Dear Friend,
While millions of Jews worldwide are working on their their Passover preparations, scores of Chabad.org's Ask the Rabbi responders and their families are doing the same.
With one major difference:

In between scrubbing their stoves, mopping their floors and doing their Passover shopping, these selfless men and women are summoned continuously by the buzz of their email:
"My son is living in Lagos. Can you help him with a seder?"
"I'm looking for matzah in Shenzen, China."
"West Palm Beach, Florida?"
"Sofia, Bulgaria?"
"I'm alone without family or a seder in Iowa..."
And:
"Where can I buy handmade Matzah in Davis, CA.?"
"Can I kosher my oven for Passover?"
"I am going to attend my first Seder ever. What should I expect?"
"Why do we drink four cups on Passover?"
"Can you help me sell my Chametz?"
"I am traveling for Business to remote place with no Jews. What should I take for the Seder?"
"What did the Rebbe say about the Fifth Son?"
"We live in ___ and have no money for food for Pesach. Can you help?!"
With their signature patience and care, our team members painstakingly respond to each individual, helping to ensure that he or she feels connected to and comfortable with his or her Jewish heritage.
Indeed, all year 'round our Ask the Rabbi scholars, along with our editors, designers and programmers, cater to millions of individuals, connecting them to three millennia of timeless, priceless wisdom and guidance, in seven languages. (FYI, during the past two weeks alone more than 2,125,988 unique individuals have come to Chabad.org to access these resources!)
Throughout the world, people of all levels of knowledge and observance – all "Four Sons" – know to go to Chabad.org for meaning and answers and for help with the most important of life's questions and challenges.
However, our job has really only begun. As the Rebbe, of righteous memory, taught, we dare not rest until every Jewish child – even the Fifth Son who doesn't know about the seder! – has a Jewish education.
Which, of course, takes serious financial commitment as well.
So, on behalf of the entire Chabad.org team, I turn to you once again for your partnership:
As you sit down to your seder with family and friends, it will surely be fulfilling to know that you've given most generously to engage the "Fifth Son," the child – or adult – who doesn't know that there is a seder at all.
Please partner with us in this effort and contribute generously to our pre-Passover fundraising drive:

(Needless to say, your donation is fully tax-deductible.)
Together we can achieve great things!
Please be sure to tell your friends and acquaintances to check out the amazing Passover offerings at www.Passover.org!
With blessings for a truly liberating and enjoyable Passover – a Happy and Kosher Passover from all of us at Chabad.org!

Sincerely,
Rabbi Zalman Shmotkin
Director
