Irma Herrick, 92, a surviving spouse of the Great Plains United Methodist Conference, passed away April 4, 2016, in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born in Beach, N.D., on March 11, 1924, to John and Martha Zeller.
Irma and Marvin Herrick married in September 1942. They served churches in Fremont, Lincoln Southminster, South Central District Superintendent in Grand Island, York First, Waco, McCool Junction in Nebraska. Irma is preceded in death by her husband the Rev. Marvin V. Herrick.
Survivors include daughters, Lorie June Tudor (Bill), Carol Pewthers (Larry) and son, Don Herrick (Sherry).
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Southminster United Methodist Church, 2915 S. 16th St., Lincoln, Nebraska. Visitation: 2-8 p.m., with family greeting friends from 5-8 p.m., Friday, April 8, at Metcalf Funeral Home, 245 N. 27th St., Lincoln, Nebraska.
