Corazón: One Day House Build in Mexico on Saturday, April 16
Corazon's mission is to building community by strengthening families, enabling service, promoting self-sufficiency and inspiring mutually beneficial relationships across borders.(See their website for more)
Help with Housewarming Gifts for the Family Moving in to a New Home!
Our congregation has always been very generous of your time and support for building homes in Mexico with Corazón. We have a Super Build coming up on Saturday, April 16, with 11 builders from our Church and friends of Corazón. We expect about 160 builders for the 4 homes we will build that day!
At the end of the day we give housewarming gifts to the families moving in. We will also give them a quilt made by the children of our church at the same time. It is always a very moving and emotional moment when we bless and give the family the keys to their new home.

CROP Hunger Walk: Sunday, April 17 at Pt Fermin Park (San Pedro)
Join area churches in a walk to end hunger in our area and around the world. The Crop Hunger walk is a family-friendly 3k fundraiser walk in support of Church World Service. (Our own Shared Bread ministry is a recipient of some of the funds raised!)
This year, walk organizers have added a children's activity fair and time for a pre-walk picnic in the park. (Bring your own lunch.) Read more online.
