Rev. Elton “John” Lee Hunter, 82, a retired associate member of the Great Plains United Methodist Conference born Nov. 13, 1933, passed away on May 21, 2016.
He married Lola Taylor on July 24, 1955 at Glen Elder, KS at the Methodist Church.
Elton served Thornburg-Reamsville-Womer, Republic-Webber, Attica, Protection and retired in 1999.
Survivors include his wife Lola; children Diane (Dallas) Hiebert, Vicki Strausberg and Dwight (Gina) Hunter.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wed., May 25, 2016 at the United Methodist Church, 204 N. Elm in Stockton, Kansas with burial following at the Mount Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 5-8 pm.
