Hello Hearts,
Here are my thoughts for discussion this Sunday. We will have the new books for distribution also. Liz will collect the money next week.

Comment on Rohr - Sunday Nov 27, 2016
P. 121 - “the purpose of letting go is to freely lay hold of something.” Rohr addresses motives in this section. Do you believe that, if your motives are truly pure and god centered, you can do no wrong?
p. 122. What is the difference between control and power?
p. 123 - I like the idea of being a tile in a mosaic, better than a part of the body image from Paul.
124… - community – What is it? Why is a spiritual journey needed?
126 – We should be like leaven, not the whole loaf. This really impressed me. How do you respond?
p. 129 – Am I guilty of holding truth arrogantly?
p.130 – must you love in general to love in particular? Or vice versa?
p. 134 – I was struck by the phrase we “imprison the gospel in our heads.” Did it strike you too?
p.138 – can we really help another?
p. 140 – what’s with this masculine stuff??!!???!!
p. 144 – “the beginning is always happening!” I find that a tremendously hopeful ending.
