130 faith leaders, immigrant activists risk arrest protesting president’s deportation policies
#pray4relief - Livestreaming tomorrow (July 31, 2014) is a massive act of civil disobedience in front of the White House with 100 faith leaders, including Bishop Minerva G. Carcaño, and 30 immigrant-rights activists from across the country who are risking arrest to demand that President Barack Obama end his inhumane immigration-enforcement policies.
The faith action begins a weekend of activity pushing the president to expand relief and halt deportations with a march from the national mall to the White House on Saturday Aug. 2.
