But I am The Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt...I cared for you in the desert, in the land of the burning heat. When I fed them, they were satisfied; when they were satisfied, they became proud; then they forgot me. So I will come upon them like a lion, like a leopard I will lurk by the path. Like a bear robbed of her cubs, I will attack them and rip them open. (Hosea 13: 4 - 8).
Wow! Does God really get angry? This passage surely suggests that God does. Do you get angry if someone maliciously hurts your child, if someone traffics an innocent young boy or girl, if a rogue band of extremists kidnaps a group of 300 girls in Nigeria, if someone viciously destroys something precious? Do you get angry? I hope you do!!
Now you can understand, perhaps, why God gets angry when we damage or harm that which is so precious to Him.
