Tebello from Partners In Health for Sunday, 31 May 2015
Tebello was nine months pregnant and lived hours from the nearest clinic in Lesotho. And, her story could have been tragic.
That's because Tebello has a disability and can't walk. She could have faced childbirth at home, where any complication could be fatal.
Instead, a village health worker, trained by PIH, found her just days before the birth. Instead, Tebello was transported to the nearest clinic, where she had a safe cesarean section.Today, she has a healthy baby boy.
Together, we can bring more lifesaving health care to more mothers in need. Will you give a gift of $15 today?
Every day, we meet expectant moms like Tebello from around the world—women who need, but can't access, crucial health care for themselves and their families.
Women who could die senseless deaths that basic health care could prevent—and who lose their babies tragically and needlessly.
Your gift today protects mothers from the world's poorest corners, providing everything from prenatal care to neonatal care to preventative medicine for entire families.
Will you consider a gift of $15 today?
Thanks, as always, for making it all possible.
