Please pray for Wesleyan Women’s new online leadership development cohort that begins this Monday. ROOTS equips women to discover who God has designed them to be and how God is calling them to lead. Using Oklahoma Wesleyan University’s online learning platform, ROOTS combines inspiring lectures, hands-on exercises, proven tools and an online community to develop lay leaders and pastors in local churches.
Could you breathe a prayer for this pilot cohort of 11 women – that they will be able to interact meaningfully around tools, Scripture, goal setting and spiritual formation? That they will be impacted by lecturettes from proven leaders like Dr. Jo Anne Lyon, Rev. Tamar Eisenmann, Dr. Joanne Solis-Walker, Dr. Judy Crossman, and more? That they will be challenged with God’s vision for their lives and grow spiritually? Could you also pray for Wesleyan Women Field Staff member, Rev. Emily Miller, who wrote the ROOTS curriculum and facilitates this first round of women?
Officially launching in Fall 2016, ROOTS is just one way Wesleyan Women is pouring into lives in local churches in order to build the Kingdom.
