The Great Plains Conference of The United Methodist Church in Wichita, Kansas, United States "In Memoriam - Hazel Calcote" for Friday, 27 May 2016Hazel Inez (Fore) Calcote, 94, a surviving spouse of the Great Plains United Methodist Conference born June 25, 1921, passed away May 25, 2016.
Hazel married Rev. Lee Russell Calcote, they served churches in Nickerson, Cheney, Mankato, Bison, Solomon and Hillsboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter, Elizabeth Ann.
Hazel is survived by her children: Rev. Victor Calcote and wife, Eileen; Elrea Mullen; Dr. Ronald Calcote and wife, Hyla; Katrina Tamsen and husband, Kent.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 1000 Millington St., Winfield, Kansas on Sat., June 4, 2016 at 4 p.m. Private burial will take place at Highland Cemetery.
Hazel requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Harry Hynes Hospice or First United Methodist Church, Winfield, Kansas. Contributions may be made through Miles Funeral Service.
