"I Refuse to be Silent" by high schooler Lily Greenstone from The Global Immersion Project of San Diego, California, United States "Stories from the EMBERS community"

"I Refuse to be Silent" by high schooler Lily Greenstone from The Global Immersion Project of San Diego, California, United States "Stories from the EMBERS community"
The Global Immersion Project offers me a place to use my voice, to learn about it, and have a positive impact on the world that I love so deeply.
From this place of youth and nagging passion and sometimes-reckless words, in a country facing some very big decisions, I refuse to be silent. I will do what I can to foster peace because there is no other way for me to live that seems worth my time at all.
The Everyday Peacemaking movement isn’t just beginning, it is already well underway. We want to share with you the impact our Global Immersion alumni are having across the country and invite you to help us build the momentum for Everyday Peacemaking during this crucial time
Become a member of the EMBERS community. We still need 115 new members by the end of the year. You can join for as little as $10/month.
Share these stories (or your own!) with your networks to help spread the Everyday Peacemaking movement (use the hashtag #EMBERScommunity so we can find each other's stories).
Igniting the embers of peace together,
Hailey
Director of Communications and Development

#EMBERScommunity: The Peace We Long For from The Global Immersion Project of San Diego, California, United States "Stories from the EMBERS community"
"The peace we long for is the peace we must strive toward for others as well as for ourselves. One person, one experience, one story at a time, we are compelled by Christ’s love to further his work in transforming a culture of conflict into a culture of hope and peace. This is a high calling, and we are called to nothing less”.
