Christmas Greetings from the Asia-Pacific Regional Director and Family!As this year draws to a close and we reflect on the activities of the past year, we are reminded that this work that we've been called into all came about with the advent of the Christ child. Despite the challenges of the past year, we trust that you are now making space to enjoy a blessed time of rest and relaxation with family and friends, as you reflect more deeply on who Christ is to you personally.
Lay your burdens down at the feet of the now risen Savior, take in all of His father's grace and bask in the restorative Peace that He gives. He is Immanuel, God with us, the reason for this Christmas season.
Thank you to all for your ongoing prayers and collaboration in ministry. We consider it a tremendous privilege to know you and to serve with you globally and on the Asia Pacific Region more specifically.

Typhoon Nock-Ten Forecast to Make Landfall in the Philippines on Christmas Day!Special attention is being focused on Tropical Storm Nock-Ten that began developing in the Western Pacific on December 22nd. This late season, 26th named storm, is currently forecast to pass directly over the top of the greater Manila area.

Tropical Storm “Nock-Ten” Intensifying to Cat 3 Typhoon – Landfall Forecast for Philippines on Christmas Day!
Various agencies’ computer modeling for forecast track.Manila, Philippines: Christmas Day is just two days away and so is Tropical Storm “Nock-Ten.” TS Nock-Ten began developing on December 22nd, and is the 26th named storm for the North West Pacific season.
As of the time of this report, the storm was west-northwest of Yap island in the Federated States of Micronesia with winds of 104 kph gusting to 128 kph (65 to 80 mph).
Computer models forecast Nock-Ten making landfall on the eastern shores of the Central Philippines in the early morning hours of Christmas Day, tracking directly over the top of the greater Manila area.
The Asia-Pacific World Mission Communications Team will continue to monitor the development of this storm and will provide updates as required.
As you prepare to celebrate Christmas, please commit to pray for those who will be in the path of this late-season tropical storm. Pray that the storm will not reach severe intensity.Live tracking information can be obtained from the following link.
