FAITH DEVELOPMENT
Senior Fitness & Bible Study. Join us at the Paseo Campus every Wednesday from 11-11:30 a.m. for light to moderate exercise done from the comfort of a chair! A trained fitness expert will guide you through exercises that help strengthen you, and the fellowship will help motivate you. Then, stay for Senior Bible Study from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and get strengthened in the spirit! Feel free to bring a dish and join us in the potluck lunch following our study time.

St. James UMC Usher Boards 27th Annual Prayer Breakfast. The St. James United Usher Boards will host their 27th Annual Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, April 29 from 9-11:30 a.m., in the Great Hall. Vocal Praises to God through Jesus Christ by Deborah Davis and Jason Goodman. A donation of $10 per person is asked; but no one will be turned away - Please ask any usher for details.
Most Powerful Voices Concert. The St. James UMC Health Ministry in cooperation with the American Stroke/American Heart Association will be host to the Most Powerful Voices concert featuring VaShawn Mitchell and Byron Cage on Friday, May 5, 2017, doors open 6:30 p.m. and concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Register for the health fair at by clicking here. Men's Retreat. Bowling League. Starting up again May 9, on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. at Premier Bowling Alley (11400 E 350 HWY Raytown MO 64139). The league starts on Tuesday, May 16, at 6 p.m. and is open to all, so if you or someone you know likes to bowl this league is perfect for honing your skills. Connectors Needed. Volunteers are needed to assist at the Welcome Center each Sunday. Duties include assisting with electronic giving, registration for church events and activities, providing information, etc. Connectors at 8 a.m. worship are asked to serve from 7:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. Connectors at 11 a.m. worship are asked to serve from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Volunteer once each quarter or as your schedule allows. 40-140. We are sharing in a season of spiritual practices this year by leading students through 40 days of practices to follow in engaging with God. We will also offer 40-140 again, which is 40 days of devotional readings no more than 140 characters long. Royals Game. Sunday, May 7, 2017, 1:15 p.m. Tickets are still available but going fast! We invite you to continue what we started at the St. James/COR Forums, building relationships between our congregations while cheering on the Royals and celebrating a "Salute to the Negro Leagues." Fans are encouraged to come "Dressed to the Nines" to honor the tradition of fans going to Negro Leagues games in their "Sunday best" or wear KC Monarchs or Royals attire. Seats are limited so, registration is required. Registration is open until tickets are sold out. Come cheer on the Royals as they take on the Cleveland Indians.
