Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 humility, self control. Nothing in the Torahstands against such things.
24 Moreover, those who belong to the Messiah Yeshua have put their old nature to death on the stake, along with its passions and desires.

I received a beautiful plant for my birthday. The instructions said that it could be planted outside. I enjoyed the plant in my office for a couple of weeks, and then my husband planted it outside.
The next spring, the plant had lots of beautiful leaves. I waited and waited for buds to appear. But nothing happened. I waited longer, but there were no flowers. Finally, I told my husband to dig up the plant and throw it away. But my husband told me to be patient and wait a little longer.
A couple of months later I noticed that there were many buds on the plant. Soon the plant was filled with beautiful flowers. I felt bad that I had been impatient. This experience taught me to be more patient with things and with people.
In our Bible verses today, Paul says that patience is one of the good things that the Holy Spirit helps us develop in our lives. May God give you patience today.
"But the fruit that the Spirit produces in a person's life is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." [Galatians 5:22-23a]
PRAYER: Dear Father, thank you for helping me be patient with people that I meet today. In Jesus' name. Amen.
