This Sunday we will get to introduce Merry Sickel to you! Merry will be joining our staff as Children’s Ministry Director. She and Pastor Cara will lead children in The Neighborhood worship time. Immediately following Sunday School we will have a quick meet & greet with her in the Fellowship Hall; be sure to pick up your kids first.
September is Missions Emphasis Month
9/3 – this Sunday we will hear about the Work & Witness trip we have coming up for our worship arts team in January.
9/9 – Faith Promise Brunch with Jaron & Elizabeth Graham – you will get a separate e-mail from us where you can RSVP so we can know how many to plan on for food.
9/10 – Faith Promise Sunday – Faith Promise is our yearly Sunday where we pledge to support the Church of the Nazarene World Evangelism Fund (WEF). Our special speakers are Jaron & Elizabeth Graham, who are currently serving the church in New Zealand. Elizabeth (Dagley) grew up here at SCN.
9/17 – Alabaster Offering – You received your boxes last month to begin collecting spare change; bring them back full on Sunday 9/17 and let’s see what God can do with our offerings! 100% of Alabaster funds go to property & buildings erected for the purpose of ministry around the world.

Additionally, we want to apologize to Dawn Wheeler for omitting her Local License report from the booklet passed out last week. She turned her report in; it was our mistake that it was not printed along with the others! It is included in the above PDF version so we invite you to check it out (page 30).
