Does your employer deserve an award?
The Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award is the highest honor the Department of Defense gives to employers for supporting National Guard and Reserve employees. Up to 15 exemplary employers are chosen each year who exemplify what it means for an organization to go above and beyond federal requirements in support of their military employees.
Does your employer help you to deploy and transition home without concern?
Are you certain that your family is supported while you are away?
Do you have the flexibility you need to succeed both at work and in the military?
If you answered "Yes", nominate your employer for next year's Freedom Award beginning October 1st, 2017. Submissions are due by December 31st and any Guard or Reserve service member employee or family member can nominate their civilian employer.
