This Sunday we celebrate worship together with Holy Communion as Pastor Adam continues our series on The Prayer That Jesus Taught.It’s a 'worship together' Sunday, which means all kids and teens are welcomed into the Sanctuary for worship - nursery available at all services for Pre-K and under.
Last night our rezlife student ministries youth group gatherings kicked off with over 130 students between middle school and high school youth group gatherings, and another 70 middle schoolers participated in 9:30am & 11am Sunday School this past Sunday. Thank you to the many new volunteers who will help them know God’s love and acceptance!
Tuesday night we held our first building committee meeting after last week’s unanimous vote to install the team and move forward on the following three priorities (in order):
1) Add the next entrance/exit from West Valley Parkway (at the furthest west end of our property per our long-term master design). Add an additional parking bay with as much as 125 spaces.
2) Re-locate the AV booth and soothing room in the Sanctuary to add as many as 200 seats.
3) Design and build a community center on the west side of the Sanctuary for kids sports, recreation, community events, youth ministry, receptions, teaching studies, meals, and more.
The committee has a wealth of knowledge and experience and passed a motion to move forward on securing our architectural and construction team.
Finally, we welcomed 25 new members at Coffee with the Pastors last Sunday (we've now welcomed 259 members since we opened the Phase II building 20 months ago)! If you see someone you know, please reach out and welcome them to our church family.

Vision 2030 Congregation Engagement Gatherings

Saturday Morning Women– Fall Session
We all have ideas we tell ourselves about God and how he works in our lives. Author James Bryan Smith believes those thoughts determine not only who we are, but how we live. In The Good and Beautiful God you are invited to put your ideas to the test to see if they align with what Jesus himself reveals about God. Rezlife Student Ministries - 6th-12th graders!
rezlife offers students in grades 6th -12th ways to grow in faith. We encourage all HS students to be in worship with their family and consider serving as ushers, greeters, tech arts, KiDSCOR, etc. MS Sunday school meets during the 9:30am and 11am services. Youth groups meet Wednesday 6-7:30pm for Middle School (6th-8th) and 7-8:30pm for High School.cor.org/west/students
Confirmation Journey for 8th-12th grade students
Sundays, Sept. 9 through Nov. 11, 1:30–3pm. Confirmation is for students grades 8th-12th who are ready to claim their own faith. Students learn the basics of the Christian Faith through large group lessons and small group bible study while connecting with other students and adult mentors.
