Trinity United Methodist Church Daily Scripture Email Devotion for Friday, 6 June 2014 "Importance of Youth"
Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, "I find no pleasure in them." (Ecclesiastes 12:1)
Can I just say, "Our Children's Ministry Department at Trinity is Awesome!!" And it's so important that they are because finding a connection with a loving God early in life, "before the days of trouble come" makes such a difference; from the rocking in the nursery, to Dawning Doves, Loving Lions, etc, planting the seeds of God's love so children know early on that God loves them without reservation.
And it's great to watch how our young parents and CMT work in such great partnership to form strong families and young disciples. And all you who volunteer to teach Sunday School and Cheers, THANK YOU! You're doing some of the most important work in the world.
