That note of encouragement came with a commitment to give a substantial gift toward the $500,000 match for the Lausanne Movement. We are so grateful for the gifts from ministries like this one and individuals passionately committed to global mission like you.
In 2014, Lausanne hosted consultations on Prosperity Theology, Islam, Theological Education, and Children at Risk, and at least four regional consultations. We also held Global Mission Sunday in November, celebrated our 40th anniversary at the annual leadership meeting near Lausanne, Switzerland, and launched a new website. We praise God for a meaningful year of ministry!
The $500,000 matching gift will help us in 2015 to continue moving forward in significant initiatives for global mission. If God leads you to give toward this match, you have only untilmidnight this Wednesday, 31 December 2014, to double your gift.
This includes all gifts for specific projects listed on our website as well as any gift to be usedwhere most needed. And remember, this match applies to both one-time and recurring gifts. If you begin a recurring gift, everything you give in December and pledge for 2015 will be doubled.
