2nd Annual Connections
Christmas Party a big hit!

Thank you to all the volunteers who were family to the residents of Connections Housing on Christmas Day. Thank you to John Townsend for coordinating . Musicians and singers provided Christmas carols. Food was provided by Urban Angels and desserts were coordinated by Lynn Fish and St. Paul's Cathedral Episcopal church. The residents who participated enjoyed a great Christmas celebration!

Connections Programs
Life Skills session begins on January 5

The 5th session of 8 classes will begin on January 5. Some of the January sessions will be video taped and interviews will be conducted with a few of the CH residents who have participated in the life skills course.

Celebrate Recovery
Mel and Ruth Ely continue to provide leadership and support for Monday evening Celebrate Recovery sessions. About 10 residents participate each week. Mel and Ruth are recruiting additional team members to help with leadership in the coming months. Let us know if you are interested.

Companionship Program
Two training sessions have already been held and the December training session was postponed. A January training session is under preparation. Two Connections residents that have now moved out to permanent housing have applied for companionship. Companion applications are needed to begin matching with these resident applicants. If you are interested in being a companion to a resident transitioning to a home, please contact Susan Amick, susanamick@gmail.com.
