NYC Fundraising Update from Pastor Roland
|
First, the teens and I would like to send a huge thank you to everyone for coming to Chili, Spuds, & Pie last Sunday. The teens felt so loved to see all of you there, and we also felt your support. You all helped us to raise over $4,000 towards Nazarene Youth Conference. We are truly a blessed youth group to be a part of such a loving congregation.
Second, I would like to update you on our Pie-a-Pastor-or-Sponsor fundraiser. After last Sunday, the standings are as follows:
1. Pastor Audrey ($81.00)
2. Pastor Brad ($31.10)
3. Margie Schwarz ($21.00)
4. Pastor Roland ($8.11)
5. Pastor Dean ($3.00)
6. Pastor Roger ($2.00)
7. [tied] Angie Burr & Mark Parker ($1.00)
8. [tied] Anne Hardy, Abe Powers, Jim Real, Joni Real, Ashley Tedder, Janelle Parker, Roger Hahn, Phil Parke, & Joy Parke ($0)
Don't forget to stop by the youth booth every Sunday until February 15 to donate towards NYC by placing money in the jars. We will remove the lowest four jars every Sunday. On February 15, at our movie night, we will "pie" the top 3 pastors/sponsors!
Thank you,
Pastor Roland Tedder
Youth Pastor
