Take a quick look at our upcoming events/activites below:
Hi Rez Blue Springs!
As you may know Bill and Penny are on a week-long Mission trip to Jamaica. They are working with our partners at the Brown's Town Methodist Church serving on the Methodist Farm. Come this Sunday to hear an update from Penny about how the mission trip went.
We are excited to begin 2015 with some great group studies! The Alpha Parenting class begins Wednesday night January 14th at 6:30. With all the new babies born recently and how Kids Cor is growing we thought this would be a practical and inspiring class to offer. If you’re a parent, care giver or soon to be parent of children 0-10 this will be a invaluable resource and place of support for you. Another class is the Covenant bible study beginning January 28th at 6:30. Both of these classes begin with a shared meal and have childcare available upon request. Find out more below in this enote.
This Sunday we continue the sermon series "Half Truths" examining commonly held beliefs, and expressions that Christians often say but which are only half true at best.  Last week's sermon title is "Everything Happens for a Reason?" helped us understand God’s ways in light of tragedy and suffering. This week the sermon is “God helps those who help themselves”. I’m really looking forward to this and encourage you to invite someone here’s the video promo to invite your friends to join us or post it on your Facebook page.  It's only 60 seconds - take a look: Half-Truths Promo
As you check out the list of new classes and ways to serve coming up this month I hope you will prayerfully consider getting involved as we grow together in our faith.
